Covid-19 Update, November 2020

MOVING TOWARDS THE REOPENING PHASE…

4 November 2020

Dear all,

Ireland has been doing a great job to flatten the curve and keep each other safe, altough with a great cost and the loss of many lives, and we are all asked to give a contribution to keep each other safe.

The safety of all the Volunteers is of utmost importance to Revived Yarn, and for this reason I have decided to not resume our social gatherings until it is going to be absolutely safe to do so. I miss all of you very much, but I think this is a small sacrifice that we can do to stay safe.

Our season of distribution to the homeless charities started this October and our help is much needed now to start stocking up the donations and be ready to keep people in need warm as soon as the first cold hits.

Let’s knit up some good donations in our free time, you can find some inspiration in our recommended patterns section! If you need yarn, please send me an email and I will arrange a contact free collection in Rathmines! Please note that this will be based on the current covid regulations provided by the Government.

At the moment, we are only able to accept donations of knitted items. We have an option for posting your donation to the charity Muslim Sisters of Eire, who will distribute them to the people in need in city centre. Please contact me (Elisabetta) at revivedyarn@gmail.com to get the postage address.

Revived Yarn is a welcoming community, we promote kindness, equality and inclusion.

For any queries, please contact me at revivedyarn@gmail.com.

All the best, stay safe and see you soon,

Elisabetta
