Donations season is open!

Starting this October, Revived Yarn is accepting donations of knitted items which will be distributed to vulnerable communities.

Due to the positive experience recorded in 2021, Revived Yarn will continue to support the Muslim Sisters of Eire and the Dublin South City Partnership, who do great work in assisting local communities in Dublin including homeless families and individuals, people affected by poverty and refugees.

What items to donate?

Knitted hats, cowls and fingerless mittens in adult/teenager size are preferred items.

Baby items are not acceptable at present unfortunately.

Crocheted items usually require some lining to ensure that the fabric is resistant to weather conditions.

You can find some guidance here Required Items

Can I donate yarn?

Yes! Yarn is distributed every year to people volunteering for Revived Yarn (this is based on availability).

If you would like to donate yarn please have a look at the requirements here.

How to donate?

You can contact Elisabetta at revivedyarn@gmail.com to arrange a drop off (usually in D6) or to meet up in Dublin city centre.

Thank you all!
